AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY

I was born in 1970 in Redwood City, California to a navy sailor and a housewife. My creativity
began to emerge while writing poems. After high school graduation, I continued to write in the
form of metaphorical editorials in a private journal. I entered into the high tech industry and took
business writing courses at San Jose State to enhance my professional skills. Writing letters of
recommendation, executive correspondence, and presentations became my daily tasks for over
a decade. While taking a sabbatical in late 2006, I accepted a challenge and wrote the novel,
West Coast Lady. In 2008, the children’s chapter book, Sir Licksalot & The Maverick Fools was
published.

Creative writing is a passion I enjoy immensely. I am actively involved in youth organizations and
spend my family time with my son and our miniature dachshund. We currently reside in the land
of opportunity, the Silicon Valley.
